A Board of Directors is essential to the strength and long-term success of a nonprofit organization because it provides oversight, strategic direction, and accountability to the mission the organization exists to serve. For Rock-Walworth Comprehensive Family Services, Inc., the Board helps ensure sound governance by setting priorities, supporting effective leadership, and promoting responsible financial management. Just as importantly, the Board serves as a trusted voice in the community—helping build partnerships, guide policy decisions, and strengthen fundraising efforts—so that the organization can remain mission-focused, transparent, and prepared to meet the needs of the individuals and families it serves.

If you have experience in any of the following areas, we encourage you to submit an interest form: legal (attorneys); finance (fund development, community foundations, major donors, investment banking); marketing; human resources; community-based mental health services; and/or are a community leader or parent.
